200 plus drivers on the road have zero issues with the way the company does things. Lets talk about Prepass. More times than not Prepass doesn't work, you get pulled into the scale house anyway. So what, you get inspected, its not a big deal. If your maintaining your truck, then you have zero issues with someone else taking a look anyway.
Someone talked about not taking truck home. The company has drop yards all over the country, so while you technically don't take a truck to the house, it still goes to your area.

Gals and Guys,
If you have never driven for a company and your going to listen to some chuckle head who has nothing better to do than sit at a truck stop reminiscing about the old days and the way things were, don't comment about things. When you talk without solid information your talking just to hear yourself talk. When you've actually driven for the company and currently drive for that company then and only then can you talk from first hand knowledge. -
With only 1week of exp...that's not any where near to be telling exp drivers how this business is...

I didn't like the training of raider because its more teams I rather have my trainer be up with me training and discussing things with me.

Have swerved to miss those Prime wanna be trucks enough to talk about them. Cheap training company. Not the worst. But can't hold a candle to Millis others. Ruined their rep several yrs ago and now trying to BS their way back. Took bad economy out on backs of drivers instead of owners giving up anything. Go back on here. Used to get rave reviews. Have a so called school in real bad area of FTW TX not far from rat FFE so called school. Bone up on your Spanglish if you plan on going. No English spoken in this area of town. Running 60 in a 75 is OK hauling over dimensional. Not in a regular box holding up traffic. No PrePass?? Another good sign you need to move on. Need to get someone with 5+ yrs with them on here. Not too many. Most have one or less. That speaks the loudest of all companies.
And who dug this old thread up??? Someone with Rat Raider. Trying to get referral pay??? Was dead for nearly two years. Guess when the pay is that low for that many hours you do what you can to get money. -
MurdocJr,
Hmmm interesting because the four trainers all sit in the front seat and the teams comment??? please elaborate because I haven't seen that yet, unless your talking about the fact that there is more than one student in a training truck. -
Big Duker,
While I will respect your opinions, tell us all where do you suggest new people go to get their foot in the door??? You know, here is my two cents. Why should anyone care about what it was like there five years ago or even two years ago?
Is that going to affect my paycheck or anyone's paycheck? I could care less about whether the trucks have Prepass or not. I drove for a company that had Prepass and I was called into scales more than I got the green light to bypass.
And here is another 1 penny added in. If I or anyone doesn't like it at Raider, they can always go to any number of other companies to drive with license in hand.
