Because carb apparently doesn't have authority to pull them over but if they catch them parked at a rest area or on the street somewhere I guess they can ticket them then
-
Ya want a nice ride and a tough truck? Get a western star. Best of both worlds. Fuel mileage may suffer a bit though
-
Very true,
I have a 435hp CAT and doing just fine. In fact, it does better than a 500hp 12.7 Detroit as far as ease of use and climbing hills. Does not do as well with fuel economy. But I'm not too far off the mark and still improving. And thats with almost 1.2 million mi on the odometer.
I advise searching and searching some more for the right truck, never buy the first truck you see. Go over every inch of it. If possible, pay cash out right. There are good trucks to be found in the $20k - $25k range.
Hurstknuckledragger, rollin coal and Mooose Thank this. -
Me too...............LOL............oh spit we aren't supposed to pick on spelling!!!Mooose Thanks this.

Get an aerodynamic truck, don't throw your hard earned $$ against the wind.

All electrical parts start start failing at 600,000??? Thanks for the heads up!!!. Apparently, no one told my truck with 1.1 million miles. I think the last electrical issue was changing out the original alternator at about 900k or so miles. And a oxygen sensor at about 900k (original oxygen sensor). And a coolant level sensor somewhere about the same mileage. No electrical problems here. Maybe there's a reason Petes have a better resale.

I run a 1994 cabover and I am fine in California until 2018 I think then I will have to have a 2010 engine according to our safetr and compliance department

Great, those seem to be attached to your transmission right?
Why argue with someone that can't read, better talk to eaton and find out for yourself son. -
How much attention have you paid to your job the last five years???
