Sorry, thought you were talking longer studs. I've got 35-40 odd ones in a bucket. Go to some tire shops and see what they have in the junk pile.
-
I try not to dig my parts out of the junk pile. Lol
I ran steel inner wheels on mine for a long time cause of this very dilemma. I ended up trading for a clunker when I was at the shop in town and took the hub pilot hubs and wheels off it and put on mine. Course mine came with Eaton 402 differentials too. My steers are still bud wheels though.
Course I traded for the clunker with selling other parts in mind and using the hubs and wheels was more of an after thought it sure would not have been the cheap way out. I'm all about saving weight and like Beenjammings idea I wish I had known then. -
Just a couple of quick calls and I found aftermarket ones for 3.00 each(25 at a time) Meritor is 5.50 each.

we bought replacement studs from international for 3.00 ea last year

I mis read your post....glazed over that you posted the PN for the nuts. I was talking about longer studs. How does the PN for the nuts you posted fix my problem?

Yeah that's about right fir every stud I've bought until now. PN E-11669 seems to be a different animal.

Rank, call Rose at Stone Truck Parts, 800-279-6385,see what she can get them for.
rank Thanks this. -
With the short studs you need the inner nut that has a 5/16 sleeve that is threaded all the way to the end of the sleeve. The others threads start past the sleeve and are for longer studs. That sounds like what you have or maybe just the ball seat without a sleeve.rank Thanks this.

Boy, it's probably cheaper to buy 4 new steel wheels for the inside. We have a ton of budd studs and nuts here that we haven't had a use for for many years, unfortunatley nothing with that #.
rank Thanks this.
