Wow I have seen to many posts talking about this type of thing lately!! Maybee the trucking companies should be issuing some form of a weapon, along with the atlas?:biggrin_2556:

I'm not gonna fight the guy. I'll back up into a corner and in fear for my life shoot the guy in self defense. No jury will convict for self defense and you don't have to do anything but try to back away from the guy. Some states you don't even have to do that. I do know in NC(where I was born and raised) you have a duty to retreat(a reasonable effort to get away) before using deadly force.

Most trucking companies, due to their insatiable lust for money and disregard for their employees, hire convicts and then screw them over. This isn't a good combination to begin with, then add a weapon(gun, knife, whatever) and you can see where we are headed. The best thing is to either buy a truck or work for a VERY small outfit that doesn't care. I work for a man, who I am buying the truck from, who carries himself. I will not be caught unprepared and in a situation where its either my life or some crackhead's life, I choose mine because their life isn't worth a pile of dog crap to me. I guess I'm just trying to say this, If you pull a gun on someone for any reason other than self defense, you deserve every bit of what you get.
