Are you saying that the recruiters were not honest. Or are you saying it's not possible to make that much.
-
That's only possible if they married their activity pay based system with the regional fleets higher mileage pay system. Sounds like you get the best of both worlds. Jump on it if that's the case

I called several times and was told the same things over and over again. Home couple times during the week 10 hrs each. 5 days on 2 off. Average guy is making 1350 a week. Now I find all this out and I am just confused. Never did get on the bus tonight I don't have time to travel than find out they were lying.
-
That might not have been a good idea. Let me break it down for you. To get 1350 all you have to do is make 270 a day. If you drive from greenbay to Minneapolis and do 2 drop and hooks along the way, which is 26 bucks a pop, you hit a little over 270 bucks. Intermodal is out and back. So around 200 miles to 270 miles out and vice versa back. Drop and hooks are paid at 26 bucks a pop and live loads are paid at 45 bucks. Cross towns are between 20 and 30 bucks. You might have just turned down a good paying gig.

It's not going in between I'm a flex fleet so I work out of Green Bay Chicago and Minnesota. How does that break down?
-
Do you work for jb?

Is this the position you applied for? http://jbhunt.com/jobs/driver/job_search/jobDescription.xhtml?jobId=4721-40569-2014-09-19

Looks like it.

It's your call. You can get all your questions answered at orientation in Chicago since all of the fleet managers for intermodal are there. Don't quote me on the drop and hook pay and live load pay amounts though. It could be different but it's my best guess being familiar with both divisions.
Lastly, if 61,000 is the low end projection, that would be around 235 a day. If you drove 500 miles and get drop pay, you'd be fairly close to that number.
