I was told .41 a mile, detention $15, live load $45, I'm a freight mix. Rail delay $15, after 1.5 hrs. Short haul pay for loads within 100 miles, $15 drop and hook, $10 per hazmat.

So they married the two. I hope it's not too late for you to take the job deuter. I would. And to prove my point further, that fleet is only be offered up there in Wisconsin. Chicago regional is only getting mileage pay for the most part and the typical detention rates. Makes 58k a year according to the advertisement on their website.

500 miles is very possible. Throw in 2 drop and hooks and a crosstown and you're gravy!

Just locked in 1 of the last 2 slots. I leave Monday for orientation. They said no one could take it once it's locked in.
Hey Ebola, isn't that 29 nice now? And to think of all the scary rides I used to make on that road years ago when it was 2 lane.
Oh my God, yes! I remember the days of the 2-lane 29 and I don't miss it one bit. And now they have the 29-41 interchange open, theoretically you can go nonstop from Milwaukee to St Paul via Green Bay and never stop.

Yep, a couple more, 45 to 10 from Oshkosh to Point, non-stop. Remember old 110 to 10, that was bad too, and 26 coming up from I-90 past Watertown is 4 lane. That was a miserable stretch. Now if they just finish 26 from Waupun to Oshkosh. Saw a lot of crashes on that part years ago. Funny, the roads get better and I don't drive a truck anymore. That's why I always say, you had a million accident free miles back then on them 2 lanes, that was a real accomplishment.

    Ebola Guy Thanks this.

If you drive 2300/week @40.5cpm that's $931/week. If you work 52 weeks a year with no vacation, you will make $48,600 driving 119,600 miles. Sounds like your recruiter is full of bs.

There is also activity pay on top of that. I was told it would be about 2500 miles a week give or take.
