    Thanks for all of your tips!

    I put on my big girl panties, did the dumbbells, cardio and practiced breathing through the exercises and it worked! I passed the physical with flying colors...:biggrin_25520:. I am at orientation in Coraopolis, PA.

    Thx! My higher than normal heart rate was always an issue with doctors. I always had to show them my history before they would calm down.

    The test consists of the following,

    -Step Test, 12" step for 1 minute
    ---3 min rest period---
    -Squats, 10 reps
    -Front Carry 30ft, 25 then 50lbs 1 rep ea.
    -Floor to Waist Lift, 25 then 50lbs, 3 reps ea.
    -Waist to Shoulder Lift, 25 then 50lbs 3 reps ea.
    -Horizontal Pull, 100lbs, 3 reps
    -Horizontal Push 80lbs, 3 reps
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~on all the above, your heart rate is monitored and cannot go above (220-your age) x 0.9.
    -Balance Beam, forward-backward-side step
    -Walk/Crouch on Catwalk, 3 reps
    harlycharly55 Thanks this.
    On the step test, what kind of step? I mean is it up and down without any rails to hold on to? I can go up and down for a minute but without holding on to something, I am afraid I will lose my balance and crash but the God news while I am sprawled on the floor is that my heart rate would still be acceptable. As far as the squats go, are they just the squat until your butt is level with your knees or are they the kind at the gym with a weight bar behind your shoulders and thrust up? I would appreciate anyone opinions on this. Thanks and C &C let us know how orientation is going.
