Melton, Whatcher 20

Going on hometime tomorrow. Sat all day for a late load. On the clock could make it, but being up all and driving all night not smart. DM saved me by making my appointment time with a 10 built in. Not great for productivity, but a whole lot safer. Another reason to like Melton.

so i sat on that load all weekend ...

monday i got a reload of lumber for tuesday del in PA. 500 miles. i deliver today and pickup in baltimore md deliver to sc, with an extra stop in sc. delivery is supposed to be tomorrow at 8am but no way im making that, 480 miles away. wasted a lot of time driving in traffic up to PA only to go back down in traffic. had 2 hours left when i finished tarping no way i was making it through baltimore at 5pm.

so getting thesw short tarped loads and i felt it today. hoping after this one just something long to take me througb weekend cause its just wasting a lot of time.

Guess not many of us are happy with loads lately, but check this out..PU in Winchester VA last FR to Grand Rapids Mi over the weekend, PU in Grand Rapids Mi Mon to Rocky mount VA, PU today in Crystal Hill VA to Wayne MI...so it's been VA MI back and forth back and forth thru VA and WV mountains and twisting secondary roads as these places are out in the backwoods...I'm tired as hell and asked for home time to see of I can break this VA MI cycle..

 

i was thinking of doing just that also hah. seeing that im CA and clear across the coast right now theres gotta be good miles in that

 

I'll put my home time in tomorrow for next weekend to stay away
From west coast.

 

I see much ain't changed at Melton. I'm happy with my new job but it has only been three weeks. Let's see how long my happiness lasts.

 

About how often does Melton go towards Birmingham Al. And can you request them route you in a certain area for your home time?
