Came home one night sick and tired of wishing I could see better. Ordered the LED's and have been backordered several times. Seemed when BMW's pass those blue lights sure light up wider and farther ahead and that sold me. Not sure if in love with the color. Lots of money and wondered if those that have them think they are worth it and mostly if they light up more of the road ahead of you. Put in new OEM Halogens replacements and picked up a bunch but would like more yet so wondered if I should cancel them or if you like them.
New LED lights; more light ?

One of our guys has them on a 03 international he loves them in summer but says he needed to add bumper fog lights as a safety backup in winter first couple vehicles he meets on a slushy salty two lane the lights get covered they produce no heat .. Maybe the newer versions do his are 3 years old he also needed to add a extra light to produce enough draw to keep them from shutting off .. He put a light on his cab floor which is wired with the headlights and that was enough draw to keep them on

so them lights make you money,, go buy Viagra better than chicken lights

The complaints I hear are in the winter, LED's do not get warm, so they ice up. All drivers I've talked to loved them in the summer.
If your lights are multi-plexed, you either have to match the correct amp draw, or many trucks can be reprogrammed to accept them. -
I have changed a lot of our lights to aftermarket LEDs and haven't had any issues. I get mine from www.superbrightleds.com and sometimes www.delcity.com, never from the dealer. I've found them to be in general less expensive than the equivalent incandescent lights, more durable and longer lasting. I started with the strobes and beacons because the difference was $55 between what we were paying locally for the old style and what I could get them at online aftermarket for LEDs and they worked out so well that I've slowly replaced every single light with them when they're lower cost, which has been almost every light. I suggest you give them a shot and see how you like them.

Thanks much. I'll try that.
