Who else has designed as much as he has? His name is the only one on the revolution patent and he also designed many east trailers as well as parts. Go find me a name that's bigger than he is.

You still didn't answer my question. I'll just assume it's according to you.
-
Yeah I guess, but we are really getting off topic here.
MJ1657 Thanks this. -
They sure look like nice trailers. Hope it serves you well for alot of years.
The trailer I pull around most of the time is a Fontaine Infinite. Its been very well taken care of and has been trouble free. -
according to who ?
-
Hah! I guess I deserved that jab.
-
This trailer was made by the biggest manufacturer here. I know it's only a chassis but the same design work goes into both. This trailer was only just over a year old it only carried ISO Containers loaded one way and empty return. There were two of these trailers brought together the other didn't break like this one but it had issues with cracking as well. The manufacturer claims to having lightest strongest trailer in our market with the best engineering. They eventually made two more trailers to replace both after arguing it wasn't their problem.
I know you are proud of your new purchase and I hope it serves you well. Trailers should always make you money because there shouldn't cost you much to keep on the road. -
I get your point, but I've definitely done the research on this one.

I pulled the Infinity for a while.

I now have the step deck version.

I got both trailers at less than 6 months old. I do like the trailers, dont get me wrong. But they arent with out issues.
Both trailers will twist and flex like a sum botch on uneven terrain. As a result, the screws they use for the aluminum plates have a tendency to pop out up near the head of the trailer. Particularly on the step right at the bottom of the step.
Also,.. I've put about 120k mi on my step. Another O/O was pulling it for about 4 months from when it was new. Its a 2013 and I just had to have a seal and bearings replaced on my front right axle.
They carry the weight beautifully. I have a 3'2 lower deck height. I can carry tall loads with out a problem. But they arent with out issues. Also,. my step has a 11,400lb tar weight. Not exactly the lightest trailer around,.. particularly after you factor in my ramps, boxes and gear.

Ours is an '04. In the 5 years we've had it other then normal maintenance all weve had to repair is some wiring and a couple holes that got poked in the deck from a crane counter weight. I guess were lucky.
