Millis Transfer School Journey (Richfield Wi Starting 8/18/2014

Yes Millis has both cameras, THEY DO NOT SHOW PAST THE FRONT SEATS!! In fact you can block them 100 percent by putting up the sleep curtian. I had the cameras when I was the captain on the boat for years...I have zero issues with them. I think in time the insurance companies will demand them.

Sept 27, 2014 Day 11 of 15,000 Miles

Sorry I have been slow at posting as of late, just been very tired at the end of the day and have been running over 500 miles a day. No Excuses! We ran as a team today to get to St Louis it was about 15 hours and we all know I can only do 11 of those, plus then I am fresh for the next day, "R" has been very helpful in teaching me little things, how to plan better, how to use the Qualcomm to see my up coming hours that will be added to my week etc...I know there are guys out there that max out the 70 and have to reset, "R" says you can work and just about as hard and not have to set somewhere for the reset, I think he is right my plan is to stay out about 17 days at a time before home time, the day was spent behind the wheel and "R" took over outside of Knoxville, where we were in a 10 mile back up due to a fatal accident.

Sept 28, 2014 Day 12 of 15,000 Miles

I awake from a great sleep and were in ILL for a pickup going to our Richfield terminal and hooking a trailer there that is going to NC for a Monday Delivery. Team driving again, I can not express how nice these T680 are, you can drive them all day and not feel beatup or overly tired. At a scale today the lady inside blew me a "kiss" ..she need to have her vision checked. Got to Richfield showered quick and checked on my car, took a ton of stuff I didnt need back to my car, I way way over packed I will put a list of what I think you need soon on here. To the bunk as "R" is on the driveline...

Sept 29, 2014 Day 13 of 15,000 Miles

Up about 4am to bring us to the rest of the way to NC, we make it with 2 hours to spare, my driving this week was 3416 miles, that would have been big money!!! "R" is smiling also as he gets paid for everything the truck does...His wife likes the money also...We get unloaded without incident and get sent to NJ to drop an load after stopping at Eden Terminal to get a trailer, we put in a few hours till my 11 is up...I love to people watch and were at a huge truck stop, and let me say there are some interesting people here...I decide its time for a good sit down meal, great meatloaf and salad bar for 9.95 off for a good night sleep.

Sept 30, 2014 Day 14 of 15000 Miles

Finish the run up to NJ, I tell you the people up there are very very well in a hurry type of folks, I had to do a hard back on a hill to get into this dock and it took me about 10 tries to get it right, my set up sucked and I couldnt turn around to fix it, setup setup setup...well some Rag Head Trucker was tossing a fit that my trainer should just back the truck in, "R" told him to just back off, I wasnt getting out no matter if it took all day to back in there, I got it and it was a great learning experience... After unload we get the head to PA then to Richfield for home time....YEAH baby the beer is going to taste good soon. We unload and blast over to PA for the load, Im out of time so "R" drives us.

Oct 1 2014, Day 15 of 15000 Miles

We take off at 5 am to head to Richfield, once we drop there were off for 5 days, now this is not the norm for students, but "R" and I live close to each other so when he takes his home time I am free to go where I want, most of you will just have to stay in the truck and wait it out...Seems like the miles are really slow going by today, but we get to Richfield at about 630pm "R" drove the last 1.5 hours I put in 608.7 miles today...now its home time I return on the 6th !!!
