I don't have the experience, but from everything I've read, it shouldn't be an issue. I know my Nov 07 "Following too Closely" hasn't been an issue.
But it's the only ding on my MVR in 15-20 years. No crashes at all (which is more important to a trucking co)

One speeding ticket shouldnt be a problem.

if thats the only one you got dont worry.they will just tell you to be good for a yr before you get any more

Thanks for the help! Another quick question, will I need to go thru a refresher program?
-
the company will take you on a road test and from that they will see if you need one.thats what they did with me.

It doesn't matter if you have eleven-teen years of experience, a perfect MVR, and can back better than most can drive forward. If you can't document recent, meaning within the past year or two, experience you are starting over. Been there and done that. However, there are companies who will hire you into a less than desirable position enabling you to regain the "current" status. You'll just have to hold your nose for a while.
When I was reentering the driver pool, J B Hunt told me I'd have to go through a "refresher" course, and run with a trainer for a while. ROFLMAO!!! I told the recruiter, "I'll get back to you." Five years later, they're still calling me.
