I overheard someone on the CB while parked at the Minooka, IL Pilot that there was a new one just opened at Morris, a week or so ago.
It's just north of the TA on IL47 and straight across from the drive into the Costco distribution center , they also have those traffic lights working now, too.
Much better layout than Minooka for fueling and parking, with the only drawback that I see being a longer walk to the building from most of the parking. Hot food, Cinnabonn and Subway with a nice, open layout.
Be advised there is construction on 47 at I-80 so it might be a little congested at peak times.

Alright everybody, let's make a real honest effort not to pee all over the parking lot. Here is an opportunity to have one truckstop that doesn't overwhelm the olfactory system with the acrid stench of rotting urine. Let's try to keep this one clean and odor free. I have faith in us. We can do it. Thanks for your help in this matter.
bigkev1115 and milkman83 Thank this. -
Ya good luck with that. Even if they put in a moving walkway to the building some of the lazy ones would just pee on it.

It was pretty clean yet, so maybe it won't smell for awhile. Nice and smooth with no bumpy asphalt and you can see some thought has been put into making things better and easier to keep clean.
On another note, they have automated cashier machines, the first of those I had seen, and they weren't there the previous week. -

Why is a longer walk from the parking area to the building a drawback? Are you really that lazy? Lots and lots of these drivers out here need to WALK
-
Why don't you use some respect when talking to other members and maybe then your point can be considered valid.
allniter Thanks this. -
I, for one, welcome all new parking options. Pilot and Flying J won me over about a year ago, so more of them is a plus. Side note, that baked chicken they have at some of them is really good.

Walking in bad weather isn't my idea of fun, and I have both knees arthritic and sore which walking on concrete agravates and you sure aren't halpin me out here with your observation. I walk and climb enough most days without adding more. I posted the only real drawback unless you happen to like Arby's and you had try to make me look lazy for pointing it out.
Thanks a bunch.Dark_Majesty_06 and kemosabi49 Thank this.
