It would be helpful to get those ten member's TTR names.
Always informative to look at all their past, post "archives". Interesting to see all their thoughts, and frustrations (low miles and therefore, unsatisfactory pay always seems to be a common denominator) leading up to their departure.
As a former CWTL driver, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I couldn't make it there!paul_4lp Thanks this. -
Well joe ....simple truth is any OTR is a hard life , if your away from home more than 10 days , which most OTR drivers are out 28-35 ..... its hard , even if you with a cherry company with 75 mph trucks ( that would make it alittle better lol)
-
Try this again , ....... Double yellow, wildblackyonder, NotTheAverageTrucker, VMaggs, YardDart, WharfRat,Xlsdraw and I have to remember the names of a few more
Truckerpete1990 .... ?Surfer Joe Thanks this. -
Thanks for the info, Paul.
Made things even easier to check out these fellow's past posts.
I highly suggest to anybody interested in a career with this company to check out long past posts of the fellows that Paul just named here on the "Conway, what's your 20?" thread.
They all looked pretty miserable to me; common denominator?
Lousy pay, lousy conditions!
What a surprise.
Why would anybody put up with this, let alone actually defend it?
Another human mystery; unless you're lost in the ozone with not a whole lot upstairs...Last edited by a moderator: Oct 5, 2014

Newbie here. Before going to school or choosing a company I did a lot of research. I learned some stuff. One thing was that otr drivers tend to be negative. You can find whining about every company. I've read a lot of complaints. Lots. Surfer Joe does not ring true. Two possibilities: disgruntled ex employee who's not man enough to take responsibility for his own errors, or he works for a competitor.
CargoWahgo, Roadrealtor and paul_4lp Thank this. -
Ahhh form the mouth of a baby trucker...good job by you.
Good luck in your endeavors.paul_4lp Thanks this. -
