Broke a lot of people around here. End dumps here. Many (most of the problem) went out and bought brand new trailers and even tractors once they heard the rate. What they were not told about is that the running is very inconsistent and shuts down often with no notice. A guy better have something else and use this for gravy once in a while. This is in Minn/Wisc

We haven't bought any. However, a quote we got from a company in Ft. Worth is the total they quoted us. So, we decided to pass. I swear, in N. La or E. Texas, we can't find em for a good price. But, we are in the frac sand hauling business tho. We are just taking raw frac sand from N. La and taking it to a company in NE Texas, with our belly dumps, so they can purify it. At least we are making some $$ doing this with 3 belly dumps.

But, we still wanna keep that door open on hauling Frac. But, until we have enough to spend on blowers, we gonna keep doing what we're doing for now.

If ya don't mind me asking, where did you get yours from? If you need to pm, please do. That's a decent price for a new one.

I buy all my blowers from Hawk Supply in Salt Lake City, UT. That price was blower only and didn't include a pre-cleaner, PTO, or driveline.

May look into that company. I can say, without a doubt, because frac sand hauling is so hot down here right now, they're doing nothing but price gouging. $11,300 is the going price, at least at this one particular FT. Worth based company. I'm sure if I really dug harder, I could find some blowers a tad cheaper down here, but I highly doubt it.

    It is what it is….

Yea it sucks that they gouge so bad in the south. We are just as busy and can still find reasonable parts. Trailers are another thing entirely. Have you talked to Amston Supply in Wisconsin?? I've bought decently priced used blowers from them and they shipped them to me for free.

Haven't heard of them, until now. Haven't looked to far out of my regional area, which is sorta dumb on my part. Trailers, on the other hand are plenty. Have found several just in the Shreveport area, but like everything, it'll cost ya. Don't quote me on this, but if I remember correctly, trailer rentals were 2500 to 3000 a month?!?!?!

    #### that's a payment on a new one and I get to keep it at the end. I ordered 2 new ones in May and if I'm lucky I'll et them before the end of the year. New Macs they were 76k apiece but I loaded them right up with options except for an air operated hatch as I can get them cheaper aftermarket.

That's awesome bro. I hope you have a TON of success hauling frac. Things down here are out of control, cost wise. Renting, purchasing or whatever is gonna slap a southern man's pocket book.

How many cubic feet were they? Have you seen the new aero dynamic model Mac are building?
