Get over it and move on with your life.
Most trucking jobs only pay that much, especially to new drivers.
The dirty little secret that nobody tells you is that it's 10 to 13 an hour for 70 hours a week. Think of working two $10 dollar-per-hour jobs every day and that's trucking.
Also, trucking is exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (Google it), so there is NO overtime.
Factor in the 14 hour legal work day and a 34-hour (NOT 48 hours, like normal people get for their weekend) reset and you do the math on how much personal time that leaves you.
    Ha-ha! Joke's on us ... suckers!

If you don't love driving, steer clear.
It's your life, spend it as you please.

I promise you, if the guy at the door next to me right now can get a job, so can you. Everything on his tractor is super-glued or duct-taped.

Time to forget this thread...if the op spent as much time applying for a job as whining about it on here he would be working by now..

Hi DSP,with respect you're not going to find a job coming on here all stressed and worried about it.How you going to know if no one will hire you if you don't start filling out apps. That's the only way you're going to find out.Everyody has different policies different insurance companies.True you may not find a $20.00 an hr job but if this is what you truly wanna do and have to get those bills paid and also clear those accidents off your record then take what you can get for now.

He asked for a LIFETIME BAN and the MAN in charge ( ADMIN ) granted his wish with a side note of he was getting banned even if he had not requested it for insulting others
