    I have to load up there on Sat nite....was gonna take exit 20 off of the thruway, then 4 the rest of the way up ....but i noticed it goes thru some mountains in the last 10 miles....should i take 7 around???

    Detour still there on rt 4 in Whitehall ny I didn't take it, no problem going over the bridge

    Detour isn't bad, route 4 is easy....a little narrow sometimes but its a designated truck route....

    Ignore the detour on 4. The detour isnt horrible but narrow. I run up around rutland all week. 7 is a nice road but has some decent grades. The fastest way to rutland is taking 4.
