The SC load was 1300 miles but wouldn't deliver till Tuesday.

Of course you will have loads for the first few weeks. After that you will learn how it sucks. They suck.
$.037 per mile is from zip code to zip code. You pay weekly for the Transflo. You will not be home every 2.5 weeks like they told you. You will learn like many others the hard way.
It simply sucks. For any other driver reading this, beware! The recruiters are not telling all the facts.
Stay away. -
a rectuiter lying? i'm sorry but I don't believe you
$.37 a mile is actually on the higher side, find a company that pays you more. Zip-code to zip-code is also standard, if you think about it its actually pretty fair, I just wish it was HHG +10 -15%
I don't get why you pay for the transflo, I think its a threat (work or you'll owe us money) i'm not a huge Transflo fan.
what do you mean by "they suck, it sucks?" please go into specifics. unless thats what you were ranting about, and really thats the least of my problems with this company. what you wrote is a small list that EVERY carrier is like -
I'm nowhere near McAllen tx

OTR is not for whining babies, that much is for sure. Anyone who comes into OTR thinking they're going to get home every 2 weeks with any company while also making a paycheck that is worth being on the road in the first place, that person is dreaming. You cannot have your cake and eat it too, but some seem to think that reality is somehow unreasonable. I do this mostly for the tanker experience. Tanker experience amounts to a lot more than experience with a box and opens doors that reefer and dry box experience can't. To each their own.

Holy hell. I actually agree with Jabber on something. Wow.Leftnut Thanks this.
