Most are scams in lease, purchase programs

Lot of them that scrape up the down payment and finance the purchase of a truck fail to get the TITLE as well for the same reason as a lot of TRUCK LEASERS they have no CLUE on how to run a business. First big $ check and its SPENDING SPREE TIME.

Saw that in practice ay my company ... Comdata glitched and didn't charge for fuel one week ... got charged the next week for the fuel that week and the last week ... no big deal, since one would be fat from the previous week.

But no ... much whining about no or short pay this week ... oh woo is me, how am I to pay my bills with no paycheck ... WTF happened to the excess money you got just 7 days before? Hell if you're running a business you shouldn't be relying on your cash flow for your bills anyway ... you should have enough operating funds hand to float you for at least 60 days and 120 would be appropriate

Whaddya mean, "The wrong ones are failing?" Do a little research to make sure you're not falling in with a used truck lot disguised as a trucking company, apply a little business sense, work your plan... and you've got a one-truck gold mine. If ya can't make this work, no amount of bank loan and used truck is gonna do ya any better.

 

Man, this thread is really eye opening. A little discouraging & hard at times to tell between the one's that are truly trying to share information to help others or are on here for the pissing match, but extremely eye-opening none the less.
