    5k miles after the oil change, analyse says everything is in norm. Probably had a bad oil last time, but speedco oil analyse does not show everything.

    Never base anything on one sample. If something is out of normal, pull another sample and compare the two. Don't beat yourself up over one sample. Lots of things can make a single sample inaccurate.

    For starters you need to use a quality lab before you can begin to worry what one sample says. As mtoo said: don't sweat one wacky sample. An ISX with a malfunctioning egr valve will create really crazy sample results when absolutely nothing is wrong.
