Tanker companies for a driver with 4 months experience.

Lot's of tanker companies will hire with 4 mos. experience.
Ignore any "experience required" on the websites and apply anyway.
Two drivers recently posted they were hired right out of CDL school to work for Indian River Transport.
I worked for a hazmat/tanker company that required 2 yrs. tanker experience, but hired two new CDL grads while I was there. Those new drivers were just as good as any of us.

A new CDL graduate posted about a month ago that people were telling him he would have to go OTR for a year before getting a decent job. I told him to apply with Trimac even though the website has 12 months experience required. Well, he applied with Trimac and was hired for local work making over $60K per year.
It's worth a few minutes filling out an application even if the odds may be against you.

 

You could also try Oakley Tank Lines, not the food grade company, but the one in Prince George, VA. Website says 2 years experience, but I'm with Chinatown on this. The worst they can tell you is come back when you've got 2 years.

ANY paving company will take and train you to drive their tanks. I graduated school 9/22 and was driving a tanker 9/29 making $18. fast forward to now and im at a new company making $21! all with 3 weeks experience. you just need to look and apply yourself smokeeyyyyyyyyy!

 

Yes, get your HAZMAT endorsement. Not having it will only make your opportunities to get hired much worse. If you have a Passport and/or a TWIC card it will open even more doors. Good Luck.
