Yea the Cascadia I got from SFI had a diesel APU but it was an older truck with different specs than the new ones. I think the new ones though if you put money down you can get a diesel APU put on it, you might be able to do that if you plan to lease a truck from SFI for bulk. Since you probably do a little more sitting on the bulk side vs van, I would highly recommend going the diesel APU route. No batteries to recharge and the AC unit is much more powerful.

The T660 is a nice looking truck. I like they way they look with the 86" sleeper, so sleek. I wish they stuck with the same grille design from the T660 on the T680 and T700, on those last two it's like they turned the grille upside down and it looks all backwards. Same thing like Dodge did with their newer body style pickups, wish they would go back.

If only that was your truck right there lol because that is a nice design don't get me wrong though yours is very nice lol but as far the battery apu I talked to one bulk guy that has it and he said he can run it for 20 hours straight and have no problem with the batteries so idk it does save money also having battery ones no worry using any diesel and also no worry about it freezing up

Yeah that is a sweet truck. It was built by a company that does gliders, I believe they ended up putting a 700HP C15 in that one. I think the same C15 that is in mine now. Hmm, now I want to know what it took to get it to 700HP LOL.

20 hours on A/C??? I'd have a hard time believing that. I could see 20 hours on heat maybe, if you didn't use any other power. But me, I got my fridge going, laptop on, usually have the laptop hooked to the stereo in the truck so the sound system is on, cooking something in the lunchbox stove (or a microwave if I ever get an inverter lol), and I just can't see those batteries holding up. Life on the road is tough, LOL.

Idk that's what I was told lol but see the inverter could run to the truck batteries not apu batteries because it is a separate set of batteries. But I will find out in 5 months when my 1 year is up.

Actually I wouldn't think the exact opposite because I pull tanks for a different company and don't ever sit. I don't know how sni runs their bulk side but my company don't allow us to sit.

That I know of from IC's here that they rarely ever sit if they sit it's cause the c/o hasn't showed up with their load yet.

To get it up to 700 hp you could put in bigger injectors and put on a different turbo and that would be a big gain. I am sure you already know but you can check with Pittsburg Power and they could tell you what they can do for that engine.

The Battery Air and Heat units WILL not last 20 Hours on Air on High or even Economy mine lasts about 10 Hrs on low/economy and about 7 on high on air conditioning heat will probably run 20 but not on Air.
