If you want a schedule try frac companies.

 

They go more on a rotation (15 on 6 off) or more regular hours?

 

Rotation, might get lucky and get flights with one too but don't hold your breath

Bring a class 1, or some of them will train you.

 

I just got my class 1, so no real experience. I any one area better to go i.e. Red Deer, Grand Praire etc.

 

GP is super busy
Your class 1 puts you ahead in the wait line as a green hand.

 

I assume that means a rookie as I work myself up to driving.

 

I'm in the same position as you Rookie1. Working through a recruiter in Toronto to get out to Grande Prairie.
