I've got 6 hours coming back to me, but do I have to wait till midnight? I started driving at 1am lastnight and I have 3:30 min that I can drive for right now, I've already taken my 10 hour but I don't wanna start driving and figure out I can only drive for the 3 hours then have to take another 10 hour. Should I have 9:30 after midnight? Or can I start driving by 10 and when midnight comes have the 6 hours put on to the reminding of my 70 which is only 3+ hours.
    Thanks

If those 6 hours come back at the end of today they should just get added back at midnight

I was expecting them to be back after my 10 but I was thinking since I started at 1am this morning then it's gotta be a new day for me to get back more time.. I'm just worried that if I start driving now then I'm only gonna have the 3 hours and I'll have to take another 10 to get back 6. I need to do 627 miles in 9:30 hours so I need to make sure lol

Yes I do it all the time when I'm short hours.

If you have 3 hours now.
Start at 9p...3 hours after that it will be midnight (duh) so whatever you have coming back at midnight you will get it back on your 70.
Of course the usual BS rules still apply 30 min break and can't drive more than 11 and drive past the 14.

Log book runs midnight to midnight. So you will have those hours available tonight at midnight.

    Speaking of Funky..

It will still tell you if you are almost out of Hours..
You could have :15 minutes at 11:50..and once it hits midnight..you will gain hours 'magically'

Lol that's pretty cool! Definitely good to know, I'd like to change my driving to night time, also it's a hell of an easier time getting a spot at a truck stop at 9am instead of 9pm. That's when "creative parking" happens

    Balakov100 Thanks this.
