2013s are Maxxforce 13s with EGR, 2015s daycabs are Maxxforce 13s with SCR. I've had my 2013 since new, 202K on the clock and it hasn't broken down once. my Cummins powered Prostar broke down 13 or so times, I lost count.

once they replace the entire fleet a few years down the road with SCR engines it should be smooth sailing.

They have 2 different options for health care. They have your typical major medical plan which I don't know too much about. Then they have an irs approved health savings account which is what I will be going with. The way it works is you pay approximately $46 a week for family coverage plus whatever extra you want to put in the account. The first 5k is on you from your account. After that everything is covered at 100%. If you call a recruiter they can probably explain it better or maybe even let you talk to someone in hr.

I am off to a good start for the week. I left the fort last night with a6 stop route going to MS. And finishing up in LA. By this time tomorrow I'll have 1100 miles and 6 stops in on a Tuesday afternoon. If I can keep this pace going I'll have a great first full week!

Good luck with that. By the time I finish most days the last thing on my mind is updating this thread. I've been burning my 14 every day. But here's a quick recap of last week. Left the fort Sunday night. Went just south of memphis to byhalia, ms. Then to Jackson ms. Then 3 stops in new Orleans. Reload in Baton Rouge. Take that to duncan terminal. Pick up a load in byesville, sc. One stop in Lynchburg, va. One stop in Richmond, VA. Last stop in Fredericksburg, va. Reload in kinston, nc. Take that one back to duncan, sc. So 10 stops and approximately 3000 miles plus tons of blocking and unblocking. I didn't go home over the weekend so I'll get layover pay for taking a reset on the road. To start this week I picked up another load in kinston, nc. Delivering it in the am to Warminster, pa. And now I'm going to sleep.

I would be dispatching out of Duncan and parking at crowns warehouse here in Orlando. At the moment it's only one truck.
