To start with I am far from an Obama supporter but if you think the U.S. Is a third world country then you obviously have not been to one. I have been to more 3rd world countries than there are states so I do have a little experience.
2d the article you quoted about retirees getting screwed was written in Dec 2013 and the part about loosing 1% COLA has already been recinded.
3rd as a Retired Marine the Military could use some cut backs or at a minimum needs to be forced to deal with waste and abuse. Just like every govt entity. We had a budget and had to spend every bit of it every year or would loose it the following year. This encourages waste just to make sure You did have it when needed.
And lastly your post sounds like a political rant and should be in the politics section.

After playing around driving in Eastern Europe, I can guarantee you, you aint seen nothin yet.
