I made it back to the fort today. Got a load going back east. 7 stops. 621 miles. Downside is where I'm going. My last 3 stops are in Baltimore. But hopefully I'll get lucky and everything will go smoothly.

There are always loads out of Baltimore going to Columbus or Cincinnatti. Stops are always off 695, never in the city.

Thanks! So should head to orientation on the 17th, Janet mentioned something about 2cpm LESS or running Ohio/Indiana or the Caroline's, what gives? Not that it really applies to me but I am curious to know
-
Yeah they pay .02 less per mile and the stop pay in those states is less, $10 per, but overall they seem like a pretty good place to work.

Downloaded my pay stub today. I grossed $1382.71 for last week. Not bad for the first week on the road with a new company.
jdiesel3406 Thanks this. -
Hell yeah, that's great!
How is this week looking right now, I know you said you will be home tomorrowjdiesel3406 Thanks this. -
I might not get home til Saturday morning. I just emptied out in dc. Waiting on dispatch to find me a load back to the fort. But I thinkI'm looking at about $1200 for the week.

Sounds like you guys are doing alright there at Cheeseman. Not too shabby...
-
I haven't run anywhere near 2500-3000 miles per week in the almost 2 years I have been with Cheeseman, and I am averaging .55/mile for the year, and haven't missed a weekend at home. Can't complain.

Hmm, I would be interested in hearing what route you take back. Does Cheeseman route you? I know I would stay on 70 into Pa and run the toll road. Just not sure what the company policy is in situations like that, do they want you to run 68 to 79 and avoid the tolls?
