    I wonder if you treated it with Line-x that they put on pick up truck beds how well that would hold up. That stuff is tougher then woodpecker lips.

    what do yall think about creosote power poles rough sawed into decking boards how would they hold up to track equipment

    Honestly I don't know if they would. I've never seen it done, but if you do it let me know lol!

    Southern Pine and Red Pine mostly...........I'd much prefer rough sawn white oak.

    Don't think I would want pine under anything steel tracked.

    I'm dragging a company owned RGN. The deck needed a re-do. They sent me to Adobe Equipment, Houston. They did the job using Apitong wood, which is a high density wood imported from the Philippines and commonly used for trailer decking. I did not treat the wood. In the last six months I have hauled a wide variety of machines, including tracked outfits. The deck seems to be holding up quite well.
