Some days I am way overpaid for a shift of doing sweet FA to the point it's embarassing.
Other days you couldn't pay me enough to deal with the crapfest and gongshow we have to deal with.
Other days are just meh....average.....NBD.
It all comes out in the mix really.

What do you do in the patch?
-
Well servicing. Drive & operate equipment.
-
What can a newbie make first year in the oil patch.
-
$65-90k.
My first year tax return said $90k with no prior experience. Came in with a class 1. Got trained up. Stayed busy. Had a couple months off and worked some days off. -
Pretty good for first year and no experience. Does it keep going up each year with experience?
-
Usually. You may have to change jobs, bases, or move companies to get ahead.

Thanks. I'm trying to figure out how long or how difficult it would be get to 100K+ as I said, starting from new.
-

Maybe 18-30 months to gross $100k annually with a busy company if you get the breaks.
