verizon is still a ripoff, they by far are the most expensive.
I myself do have a jetpack mobile network with them though because of their vast 4g LTE coverage.. it is better than everybody else.

I also have a sprint phone with unlimited data, it's $50 a month with 4g and all.
I use my cell phone as my satellite view overhead navigation system while I'm driving.

 

A 19% reduction is a pretty attractive offer. And my guess is "ripoff" probably depends on ones own perspective. Many customers are happy with them, many are not. The entire cell-phone/data-service infrastructure in our country is sadly lacking when compared to other countries, so we have something to gripe about, no matter which provider we use. But it's all we have, isn't it?
