Yeah said doing it to help a good customer.
Unfortunately the good customer wasn't good today.

Hope things are going well out there for you all!! Been busy and a LOT of swinging shifts....a tad under 5,000 miles for last week!!!! Depending on whether Food Service of America here (Woodburn) get a move on and get this load out and done in double quick time or not (not looking good...) will either be a paltry 700 miles for the week or a better 3,000.....we shall see.....chasing my 70 hard for 5 days now....
-
Been up against my 70 fir awhile now. Most days stopping with an hour or less, sometimes a few minutes. Been getting 3k a week pretty steady
-
Meant to mention that there is a new transflo app that is more streamlined. I just found it a couple weeks ago in case y'all haven't. Transflo plus.
-
Yup, I have it too....which is why I was able to get 5k last week.....but depending on how much longer they keep me here this week is going to SUCK!!!!
-
Yep, big miles on one check usually results in low miles before or after.

What is the pay scale for holland? Do they offer insurance so I can out my 2yr old son on it?...home time for Houston?...
-
Honestly the base pay isn't the best. I'm not sure what it caps at, but I came on at 35 cpm, I'll be at 36 next month with a year with them. Quarterly bonuses are attainable. This quarter I'll a 5 cpm bonus for every mile driven. Plus on your anniversary you get a 2cpm bonus for paid miles for the year.
I only keep insurance on myself, and it's not terrible. However, from what I hear, family plans are expensive. After 2 years, Holland pays the drivers premiums.
I have no problem when I take home time in Houston. They do want 3 weeks out vs the normal 2. Not an issue for me since I usually stay out 2-4 months.
Probably not the answers you hoped for, but hope it helps.
For me the base pay is made up for by the long runs, nice equipment, and a quiet Qualcomm.
I don't know about other drivers, I've experienced zero micromanagement. I've never been questioned on my route, even if it varies from the route they send me. That in itself is worth a penny or two per mile to me.Balakov100 and Bigcountry8079 Thank this. -
Guess I forgot about the Annual Bonus. Was pleasantly surprised.
Just got the message this morning actually.
On the routing I have not personally been questioned. I have talked to a few drivers that were.
I mostly follow the route anyway. Occasionally I do get Goofy Ones, I used to send messages with explanation but quit since I never got a response.
anyway.
I just make sure I have a good reason/explanation if I don't follow it., and obviously don't add a ton of miles.TexTrucker Thanks this.
