For maximum pay, Texas is a good place to avoid. For nice sunny weather and $22.00 per hour oil hauling jobs, Texas is the best place to be.

My first 2 week check in ND is $4200 gross. My next check is going to be north of that. I'm a company driver, working more or less within the HOS, this is pretty exceptional money for driving someone else's truck 70 hours a week. It is literally double what I was making in Louisiana, a decent bit more than double actually.

I talked to a MBI trainer who was retiring. He was pulling down mid 90's for the year and his trainees were targeted to hit 120 ish. Would water still pay these rates?? Or has it let up in the last 9months or so?

Who do you work for? Are you hauling water or crude? It sounds like you are doing quite well.

I'm hauling crude for a 25ish truck sized company that is about as old as the Bakken boom. I'd rather not say the name because I don't know if anyone I work with visits these forums and anonymity allows me the freedom to speak honestly about the company.
