I was doing good just to attach the picture. My expertise on a computer is limited to the power button.

If I buy my own trailer, I would go for disc brakes.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
All of our trucks and newer trailers have disc brakes. I love them

my friend works for Hirschbach, all trucks after 2014 have disc brakes. Trailers after 2015 have disc brakes.

It's not that you'll be just removing weight to haul more, removing rotational mass frees up a little horsepower and definitely gives you a slight MPG bump.
And disks are not rare, almost all of the newer trucks I'm seeing are being ordered with them.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -

Thought some might find this pic intressting
Truck run with grossweights from 90 - 120 000lbs
Of course all original pads. Discs looked like new a couple of weeks ago, 70% left on the worst worn pad.
(bromsbelägg = brake pads)

EBS and disk brakes are greate for safety, especially with ESP and RSS.
all this stuff works well first 3-5 years if u dont abuse brakes, but EBS is smart electronic system and if combined braking is actuated EBS may apply jakes via J1939, to save brake pads. It is not all, it supports brake pad wear equalizing, combined operation with retarder....
Really when truck is new u will have minor wiring/sensor problems.
Later u'll be faced with worn calipers, cracked disks, bad EBS modulators.... but truck will be 3-6 years old and parts go much cheaper/
The main problem of disk brakes and EBS we had when this stuff was introduced in 2000s was employer's skills. -
Isn't there bendix or meritor brakes out there like russia or europe.
