Hey everybody. I'm ej. I live in baltimore. I've been really considering getting my cdl. I've been in the warehouse field close to 20 yrs. Most of that time i was married and was discouraged by my then wife on getting my cdl because the only route had i considered was paid training (otr). Now divorced and my kids are older i think i'm ready to do this. After all the research i've done my biggest concerns are which company, and possibly being rejected because of something in my history that i may have missed telling them or something they feel isn't acceptable. I lived in dallas for 5 yrs. Just before moving back to baltimore i got pulled over for speeding. Got tickets for speeding, and expired registration (i was moving in 2 wks). Anyhow i do plan on taking care of it (when i can afford it). And i do plan on sharing that info during the recruitment process. Other than that i'm clean. Drug free. No felonies. No dui. Should i have anything to worry about? I just don't want to leave my job only to get rejected then be unemployed. Help! And thanks.

    Welcome to the board
Take care of your ticket as soon as possible.Don't think the expired registration will be an issue. As long as your ticket is not 15mph or more over shouldn't be a problem.Think most companies give you 3 moving violations in 3 years.
