Hi. I have been reading posts for a couple of years now, so I thought it was about time I register. I have my CDL A, HazMat, & Tanker endorsements. I drove a day cab (Mack R300) in NYC for 2 years about 30 years ago. We did street delivery of 100# bags of flour. Never drove tanker or HazMat. Took a refresher about 6 years ago and did well. Have been working in an office for the past 24 years. Job goes overseas in 4 months and have been thinking about going OTR. I have talked to various company recruiters and I am aware I will need either a refresher or a full "career" class depending on the company. Then I will go out with a trainer. I have some questions about quality of life on the road. I also have an interest in either refer or tanker and have some questions about those as well. I will post in the proper categories.
