How to tie off straps

I roll mine up and zip tie them with reusable zipties I found.

I'm telling you. Or I use wire.

 

A friend of mine uses thick reusable zip ties for a lot of temp stuff-I found out they are reusable after I walked down my side of the trailer and cut them all with dykes when I got to the unload lol he came down his side with a handful of them looking new....mine were all bunched n junk oops

 

If it's a tarped load I just roll them up and set it on the deck.

I have been doing this for years and love it.

 

here is an example. adjust the length of the folded strap for a snug fit.

 

I learned the same thing from an Aussie I worked with on the Harvest Run. Works great for 2" and 3"straps. A bonus is it pisses anyone off who doesn't know how to undo the loop.
