I assume I have to ask my company for some special brake checking apparatus but I have no clue what its called or what it is .
I guess it might be a mirror I set behind the trailor and another under the tailor for the tractors brakes
About to go solo ,how do I check the brake lights?

If you're not yet solo you have a trainer, right? What does he/she say? And how have you done it so far?

Ask for a brake light check on the CB on your way out of the truck stop. You'll have plenty of opportunities to see your brake lights in the dark.
