It's hard to understand why the big companies want the liability insurance raised. When they spend most of their time pushing the purchase lease deals. How's that going to help their lease drivers? How's that going to save them money. Doesn't make any sense at all.

There's actually an ex cop at a dirt track who races bombers and kicks everyone's butt near my house.

Know a guy that golfs with one arm to. Shoots in the 80's

No truck drivers can hear..... We're all deaf.... Seriously ever listen to a truck stop conversation.

    Its like geezers...

    Huuuhhh!!!!

    Whaaaatttt!!!!

None of those are going to help except the eobr .
Wouldn't be needed if ppl weren't running on meth 24/7 or running off the road asleep. Idiots ruin it for the rest.

Most all the large companies are self insured. That way they call the shots and not an insurance company. When it comes to smaller companies they are the ones who will be hit the hardest.

You'll probably more than make up for it in fuel saved if you're an O/O, anyway. Work smarter, not harder.

There might be a run on high profile drive tires! Speed limiter law will be repealed when states like Ohio start going broke and laying of speed cops.

It's the usual bureaucratic BS, I think most of it is for show but the most destructive elements could end up in the rules if congress approves them. We just elected a whole lot of new people to congress, be sure to let them know what you think of this crap. Especially emphasize how it will make the driver shortage worse and how it will negatively impact the US economy as a whole, that will get the most response from elected parasites..er...I mean officials.

    Pfffttt....

They'll just get you for doing 41 in a 45...

Or pulling out of the shippers yard placarded in Columbus saying you aren't allowed to go this way to the interstate.

    They'll get their money...

Just an FYI. Almost all the money collected for tickets goes to fund the states Police Academy and not the town or state. A small portion is kept by the local courts.

And don't let the ATA fool you, they act like they care, but all they care about is the mega fleets, which they represent and which account for 5% of the trucking industry.
