It's hard to understand why the big companies want the liability insurance raised. When they spend most of their time pushing the purchase lease deals. How's that going to help their lease drivers? How's that going to save them money. Doesn't make any sense at all.

Most all the large companies are self insured. That way they call the shots and not an insurance company. When it comes to smaller companies they are the ones who will be hit the hardest.

There might be a run on high profile drive tires! Speed limiter law will be repealed when states like Ohio start going broke and laying of speed cops.

It's the usual bureaucratic BS, I think most of it is for show but the most destructive elements could end up in the rules if congress approves them. We just elected a whole lot of new people to congress, be sure to let them know what you think of this crap. Especially emphasize how it will make the driver shortage worse and how it will negatively impact the US economy as a whole, that will get the most response from elected parasites..er...I mean officials.

Just an FYI. Almost all the money collected for tickets goes to fund the states Police Academy and not the town or state. A small portion is kept by the local courts.
