Love me some north east driving, tell you what.

    West Haven, CT.

For any fellow flatbedders.. Supposed to be picking up @ new holland, pa; Load assignment says I have 6 pieces. The 01 message says 4 chains per unit. 6x4=24 chains and binders. Am I going to have to hunt down chains and binders to pick up, or is that just a generic message..?

    That stinks...
How many company reefer drivers would want to shell out $250+ for a special load lock that takes up the space of three and that they will probably only use once?

6 sounds like bailers but I've never hauled them so I can't really help you there. But It does sound like overkill in attempt to make things idiot proof.

I would ignore it and know it would be my butt if something went south; which it is anyway. :) A call to shipping might be helpful.

    n3ss Thanks this.

Yeah I have no plans to hunt down more chains/binders if that's the case.
