I've had good experiences with Rush on a 2010 389. DPF cleaned at Phoenix, in and out same day before 5:00 and a right windshield replaced at Fontana, in and out in a couple hours.

The only real peterbilt dealer in the Sioux Falls SD area

    Terrible

Sioux Falls Pete put me on hold at 11:30 on Saturday and closed without telling me. Had to wait til Monday to pickup an oil pan for my truck.

Any of the dealerships in Midland/Odessa. KW is great to deal with for parts except their phone system has not worked in the six months I have been here. Even emails to the MHC home office have had no results. They usually have what I need, but the service side is horrible. Badly understaffed, then they had a truck in for over a week to clean the DPF and reset the light. It took two trips for that, the first time it was two days, and when the driver got back with it he told me it was still limiting and the red light was on. I had him take it back the next day, they gave me some run around about needing to check further, then the third "tech" who worked on it told me he ran the regen from the computer, cleared the codes and it was fine. Idiots.
The parts guys at Rush Peterbilt are pretty arrogant most of the time, although the shop is a bit easier to deal with.
Bruckner's is a joke. If you have a truck more than a couple years old, they won't have parts for it. The shop misdiagnosed a rear main seal leak as excessive blowby, after keeping the truck a month.

I have to put in a plug for my local shop. I'm in Dubuque, IA and 5 miles across the WI border 151 Exit 5 Kieler Truck Center. They take good care of my truck and don't try selling me #### I don't need and their rates are fantastic @ $50/hr. Been going there for years. If you're ever in need of anything at all in this area, I highly recommend them. I wouldn't trust my truck any where else.

I like Closson's 3-D Truck Repair in Sodus, MI. They do it all; truck, trailer, RV, car, boat - if you can roll it in the shop they'll work on it. They're always busy, but if you need something done ASAP they'll make sure they find time for it. Great rate on PM's, too.

This won't be a revelation for anyone, but the TA, Petro, Boss, and Freightliner in Gary, IN are all their own special blends of hell.
