Should we expect a basic math test at orientation with Covenant? If so, what does it include? Can you use a calculator?

If you have to use a calculator in solving "basic" math problems.......you've got problems already.....

Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, pretty sure thats what youll need to use, highly doubt youll be doing calculous, or trigonometry equations. I point towards what tony said above.

If your truck weights 13450 bobtail and the trailer weights 14,340 empty and you leave Dallas at 4am on a eastbound train and you have your headlights on how many apples does Johnny have on the trailer?

A load weighing 42,595 is headed to a warehouse 1121 miles away, the load is expected in 72 hours, you have 49 on your 70 and 9.5 on your 11. The shipper tells you the load will be ready in 45 minutes but you know from experience this shipper is grossly inaccurate in their time estimates by 23%. You will need to take a route that crosses 4 passes that exceed 5000ft. The conditions are predicted to be 60% rainy for 75% of the time.
You have 3/4 in your fuel tanks and your tires are at 100psi.

Given this information answer the following question your driver manger is asking..."Why was your ETA off by 20 minutes 4 days ago?"

honeyandlovie, try khanacademy.org if you want a good refresher in math and many other subjects. It's a great resource.

Wasn't trolling at at , only making an observation....If simple math like most of the problems on that test you linked are above you then you'll have trouble even with a calculator. I'm 65 years old and I remember learning 90 % of that in grade school , then the rest before entering the 9th grade.
