he fails to mention he wasn't making truck payments at the time......drop $850 to my bottom line every week and let's compare checks.

Dispatchers..the scourge of the free world.Cat sdp and stevep1977 Thank this. -
FYI found out if you join around the time I am they offer an extra week of no truck payment.. supposedly to give relief to those whom want to visit family for the holidays.
This week I gotta find a way to a bank while working so I can wire them $5000 for the new Kenworth. $3000 of that is a security deposit which they double and you get back at the end of the lease.
For those whom are wondering the weekly payments are about the same for everything.. new or used when you factor in the required maintenance accounts per truck.
Sure a cheap freightshaker might sound cool numbers wise up front but it's got NO APU, just that battery pack that dies after a few hours. Want an APU on a new freightshaker, that'll be an extra $1800 up front along with your $1000 down payment for a new Freightshaker so I was told.
The Kenworth already has a tripac APU, 13th speed and a lot of other nice things. Plus they double your security deposit which is nice.
Way i look at it is if I'm paying for something I'll pretty much be living it, I better like it and be comfortable.
I'm gonna get a tan one... no more freightshakers for me, I'm over that garbage with the interior that rattles apart. I've had two company freighshakers.... when it rains outside it rains inside too baby! uh noo no more of that for me.
oh btw I'm not doing this for the money...
If I make the same as I am now as a company OTR driver I'd be ecstatic.
Simply the joy of NOT having a dispatcher, which also sends into every freaking ice storm in the Northeast EVERYTIME and where now I'd be able PLAN my loads to where I can actually have normal sleep schedule is well worth it.
It's all about freedom and lifestyle for me.TennMan, popcorn169 and sadwar Thank this. -
Actually you can take the down payment to orientation with you.
That's what I did..you get to look before you throw down your hard earned money.
Congrats to you sir..you will LOVE the T680.freightwipper, 91B20H8 and TennMan Thank this. -

They told me they need to money to hold the truck for me.
Then again half of what I've been told by them has been the opposite I later find out. lol -

And if you clowns would stop and read I said I was in the top 10 prior ... And my numbers would change after the lease .. but you'd rather act tough and make your self the go to expert on having a truck note ..
I'll post my settlement Thursday ... As usual I'll back it up with facts .. strange to me the folks who blast never show numbers just talk about them ..
freightwipper Thanks this.
