    Thanks buddy. I do like it a whole lot better....but my last truck was fast.....really fast compared to this one. But hey, overall I'm very pleased. I had a problem and Abilene fixed it. That's all I can ask. Thank u Scott. Be safe everyone

    Well, I've been doing good lately. Been going all over. Truck hasn't had any problems. Only problem I've been seeing is me running out of hours. It gets tough when your on your 3rd recap week. Hope everyone is doing good. Guess I'll find another thread to start posting in

    Well gracious buddy..... I'd hate to see you disappear!!

    Yeah, I have been pretty slack posting here lately, but I have been running like a scalded dog! Pretty much been running all day, shutting down for my 10 hours, and then blasting off again. Been getting some great miles though.

    Had a trainee a few weeks back that was a GREAT driver. His name is Fred. Him and I ran all over the place, including Donner Pass, Fancy Gap, and Jelico. And he performed wonderfully. Was supposed to get another trainee back on the 10th, but he "disappeared". I know he was waiting for the birth of his child, but that's about it. Another one will come along soon. I am sure of it.

    I have decided to be a Stage One trainer, which means I get them straight out of CDL school, so if you are going through school now, and looking for a company that hires students, YES, Abilene DOES hire students fresh out of school. If you need more information about this, just ask

    Otherwise, all is well. I am getting treated very well by Abilene. Great miles, great paychecks, and they are not "killing" me.

    That's good man. I couldn't train...I don't have the patience for that. I'm spending tonight on the yard. Hopefully to get something good out of here in the morning. I'm glad your getting out west. Mostly Kentucky is as far west as I have got in the last 3 weeks. Mostly just running east coast.

    Was looking at Abilene great looking equipment trucks and trailers. Do you get choice of truck or is it just what they have at the time ? Like would they give a newbe a new kw t680 or a truck that's older?
