Pay varies by yard. Stockdale starts at 17.75 an hour on nights. DILLEY and Gonzales yards start at more. It's one of the lower paying companies when it comes to hauling water but a brotha had to start somewhere. There is a raise schedule in place but you will top out eventually at a rate still lower than what chalk mountain starts at I believe.
And I have weekends off. Fri and sat night. Not everyone gets that schedule. Most guys have a Sunday Monday or Thursday Friday off. Some guys work a sixth day.
It's water. We do have a sand division that pays a percentage. I thought about it since it would eliminate my housing costs but I didn't really want to go back to living out of a truck. Plus I met the woman of my dreams down here and recently relocated to San Antonio haha.
I don't make $2000 a week, but I do have weekends off. Or at least I consider Friday and Saturday night having the weekend off.
Working 65 hours a week I gross about $1400 and some change. I do alright for being home every morning and having the days I want off, off.
I've thought about jumping ship but I'm honestly happy here. My only complaint would he there is zero room for advancement. If I go anywhere else it might be into a frac position will Halliburton. I'll stay put till next may at least.

Do they pay more if u have hazmat

We have contracts with a variety of companies down here. Murphy, eog, marathon, etc. Probably too many to list.
Not that I am aware of. But if you did have your hazmat I don't see why you'd work for us hauling water since you can make mucho more Dinero hauling oil.
