What else should I bring with me to training (above/beyond checklist items)?

30 pages. Too much info?

The person with a car is king, its nice to be able to drive anytime anywhere. They usually have ton of menus at the front desk to order out from but that can get old and expensive quick. I think the Chrome Cafe had odd hours when I was there, or just not open when you needed it.
Act like an adult when there at the hotel. I was surprised at how many "adult"s acted like teenagers away from their parents (read wives) for the first time. The old story I heard while there was they use to have a 15 passenger van that could be used at anytime. But one time a bunch of nit wits went to the bar in it and crashed it so that was it. -
They still have the vans that can be signed out, but only by drivers that have been with tmc for 3 months

I was only looking for general information about TMC when I looked through most of those pages. Most of what I saw concerned general information about orientation, how each day was going, how his trainer was working out, how his loads were working out, how his truck broke down, etc.
Great thread and very informative. However, I'm out of town visiting family for the last time before I ship out, so I don't have the time to sort through a few hundred non-related posts again to find a few that might concern items to bring to orientation.
I bet. If I knew I was headed right home after training and not out on the road with an instructor...I'd drive my car all the way out there. I'll miss not having a set of wheels for two weeks.
