US Xpress's new driver policy is UNREASONABLE

Those Dollar accounts are all a waste of time. Back into tight spots and then unload the products just so I can be home long enough to do a reset. No thanks !

In your response you did not answer the question of why it was illegal.

 

Because in many cases the student will help unload the truck off the clock and then run his hours out overnight dropping off the empty and grabbing the next load and running it to the first stop. Could end up working all day with very little sleep and any work off the clock is illegal.

 

I agree with your money statement but where does the 5500 mile max come from.

 

ok, I see. You didn't mention that the unloading was off the clock. A driver would actually do that? No wonder it's a mess. Sorry to all that fall into that.

Don't sweat it man. Its like that for all the companies on the dollar accounts that allow training. Its always against company policy but its hard to police.
