Lol. I could push the snow but if its wet n heavy, not the thin powder, I'd be afraid of my chrome deer killer getting damaged.

No I actually go to places that I send my drivers , 3 of us heading up there, I asked who wanted to go for the first trip , have 30 loads up that way over the next few months so all can get a chance if they wish. 1700 mile round trip from the 1000 ISLAND CAN / USA BORDER CROSSING takes 36 hours drive time in decent weather

I just reread all the post that led up to this lovely discussion. In the ones I posted I never once called anyone a steering wheel holder. My statements were directly geared to those that don't want to do the job they were hired to do. When I got detoured to Forest City to take that load from that driver who refused to go to Brooklyn, I got pissed, for the third time in 2 weeks rescuing the same loads from drivers who don't go here or there. Can't do it legally as a solo? Really? 1150 miles, Forest City to Brooklyn, leaving out at 11am Thursday morning with a 10 hour break just completed, due at 2:30am Saturday. My math and calculations say otherwise. My argument is this, we were hired to deliver freight, why should some of us go and do the job, and others are given a pass because "I don't run there". That is my issue. Call me what you want, but you will never hear me complain about the job I was hired to do. Bragger? count me in, for doing my job, high on a pedastil? Maybe so, but please, base it on what the facts are, some of us do and some of us don't.
I too am done with this conversation, I have never made any bones about how I feel, what I do, or how I go about my job. I have been this way ever since I started my Calex thread in 2009, and I'm not about to change my Abilene thread after the last 2 years.Last edited: Nov 23, 2014
FLATBED, master yoda, joseph1135 and 3 others Thank this. -
My recliner has been comfortable this afternoon on a pass through. However I must abandon my Lazy boy and get up to Rhode Island. I do have a 3 day break coming up though. As for the plywood, I think safety would disagree. Although that may be fun!

I will share my cranky name with you John if you would like
I suppose the steering wheel holder comment came out of my mouth
it certainly runs thru my head
I survived a Gloucester Mass fishing boat try to run my boat over out on Georges Bank
after I told him what I thought of him
I survived that will probably survive this too
the best part is the only people who dont sleep well are the people with resentments
they toss and turn plotting revenge and evil consequences
