The life of a pig hauler .

I had a bad day two days in a row . I had two dead on two loads. It really made me mad , and not because I had to drag them off but the fact that an animal went wasted .

Its going good so far guys . I love it and will never see myself going back to anything else.....

Yeah , I kinda figured thats how its gonna be .

That one day I had a bad feeling when loading at the barn. The farmer was running 10 and sometimes more out onto the chute and then they were all bunched on the ramp. Wich lead to them getting all stressed out . I did send one back into the barn that day and told him , thats enough . You cant put this many out at a time , and he apologized and went to only pushing 6 at a time . That made the rest of loading so much easier.

I am doing my best and learning little tricks as I go.

Oh and I am proud of myself . I finally got that counting down . Lol

 

They wash them out after we are done unloading . Now sometimes they do a better job then others and if I notice its dirty , I will stop at our shop and we have a wash bay there for livestock washouts and I will just spray it out myself. I hate dirty equipment. Lol. Plus it dont look good if we show up with a trailer that still has #### in it .

Also my truck and trailer get washed every week on friday when I am off . Gotta love that . No more sitting in line at the streakin beakin.
