What size kw units are you looking at? I've noticed quite a lot of 2kw units new n used for sale. I'm not familiar with air heaters heating potential in cold climates.

I heard wabasto are broblematic here in US. I have Airtronic. in my truck. paid $1,150.00 with installation. never had any problems with it. shouldove done it long time ago.

I think its d2. I can use is as fan when its hot.

I have AT5000ST. It is problematic with combastion chamber, goes dirty.
Problem was solved easily! I fit additional tank for heater and when it is cold I add some jet fuel.
